I've found that in many T20 Classic Racers there's no oil pump/Posi-Force Lubrication System. Why, what good will that do? Is it absolutely safety to run the engine without the oil pump, only usind 4% oil in petrol? How about the lubrication of the three crankshaft bearings, is it really sufficient without Posi-Force?

Yes, my T200's run premix with no problems. One of the modifications is to block the oil feed from the gearbox to the centre bearing and remove the seals so this centre bearing is also fed by the petroil mix.
A benefit is the removal of the oil pump, less to go wrong and a very slight gain in power. Less weight, less cables et cetera.

I run mine on a 30:1 mix (but may increase this to 40:1) and it is fine so far. With the Ian Ambler 4 bearing crank you have to feed all the mains with premix - you have no choice. I did though drill 4.5mm diameter holes in the top crankcasing half, down from the transfer ports to the main bearings to aid petroil flow. I will eventually get pictures of this mod up online when I next update the site.
All the best
