I'm restoring what I was told was a 1966 T20. The frame number is T20-10925 and the engine is T20-10908. Do these numbers sound correct for a 1966 bike?

Hi there

The first ever t20s had engine numbers T20-10000 onwards. That makes your bike a very early one, maybe even 1965. It is certainly no later than '66 but may have been manufactured in '65 and first registered in '66.

Does any one have info on T20 paint colours/codes especially the red used and silver used on the guards.

As far as I know, nobody does have! Every restoration I have seen is a slightly different colour. Suzuki didn't used recognised paint codes at the time which is why we have a problem. If anyone does have this information, I'd love to have it.

I got this information from Paul Miller.

He used these to match up the colours to the red and silver when he listed the body parts on e-bay for sale.

Red is House of Kolor (USA) UK-11 (use 3-coats, base is silver)
Silver is House of Kolor GM Silver 13-5 This is used for he base coat and also the silver on the mud gaurds/fenders.
The stripe of red is 1" wide on the fenders/mud gaurds
House of Kolor can be found on the internet and can be purchased off the net.

Hope this helps.

Hey - thanks for that Mark!
Much appreciated. I'll add it to my FAQ section.

T20 restoration project, rebuilding wheels. Is there any hub offset and if so where is it measured from and how much.

Hi Chris

There is no offset on either wheel (there isn't on mine anyway!)

Are you sure?

After seeing the T200 beat you at cadwell park I reckon there must have been something out of line or was it just the rider?
