What is the tank capacity for the oil tank on the side of the which holds the two stroke oil? What is the capacity of the motor oil for the bottom end. The manual I have says 2.3 quarts, but then in the direction for changing the oil it says to put in 1.1 quarts. Thanks for all your help already. Also do you have an ISBN# (or title) for the Haynes and Clymer manuals? I can't find them online. Peter |

Oil tank holds 2.2 litres. Gearbox holds about 1 litre. However, as there are three drain plugs (including one under the crank centre bearing), most users find that as they haven't drained it properly, they can't get this much in. As I said elsewhere - just use the level indicator for a level, viewing the oil level with the outer clutch casing removed. Both Haynes and Clymer manuals are no longer published. You need to search second hand shops. Try Ebay. |
