Hi Adrian, I'm in the process of putting a long dormant T20 back in operation. I'm trying to find the recommended sparkplugs (NGK-B77HC) but the closest I came up with is NGK-B7HS. Does anyone know if this plug is ok running in a T20? Also, the fuel tank cap appears to be the wrong type for the tank. There isn't any type of gasket or socket in the tank opening to screw the cap into. I've come across a rubber push in type (also refered to as a "bung" cap) on ebay. Anybody familiar with this type of cap? Robert |

Hi Robert The NGK-B7HS plug is fine - I use them on mine. However, if you live in a hot climate and don't potter around, you may want to use a slighter cooler B8HS plug. Your cap must be the early push in type. The later one had two small pieces sticking out sidewards that located in the tank and then held it in place when it was twisted. Hope this helps Adrian |

Hi Adrian, Thanks for the advice. I'll go with the plugs I have and buy one of the push-in type gas gaps. Robert |

Hi, Just thought I'd chime in here. I also have a push in type fuel cap on mine. But I've had no luck in finding an afforable replacement. I have two but the years have taken their toll on the rubber and they no longer seal properly. Just a warning so you know, even if you find one the rubber might be shrunken, and it will not fit. Good Luck, Mia. |
