Hello Adrian What oil would you recommend for use in a t20 to be used on the track. Along the same line any tire recommendations? thanks Serge |

Gearbox oil: I use 1 litre of fully synthetic SAE 5-40. I was told that this would make the clutch slip... well mine did a season and a half on original worn plates and never dragged (once warm) or slipped. Highly recommended. Two stroke oil: I use Castrol 747. Hard to find, but you can order it. Superb stuff that I run at a ratio of 35:1. Tyres: the only front one to use is the Dunlop 2.75/3.75 KR825. Ideal on a WM2 or WM1 rim. Go for soft compound, but it won't last long! Can be used on the back too, but maybe a bit small for a big rider. I'm about to try a new rear tyre, so watch this space! |
