Hi there, I was just wondering the best way to clean dirty, rusty friction plates. They seem to absorb whatever i try to clean them with, and a wire wheel is a little too agro.
Thanks!

I use a very fine wire brush.

Pan scourers or wire wool work well too. I fine wire brush is probably the best method though.
