Could anybody tell the part number of the T20 crankshaft middle oilseals 25x55x11? I mean just the original 11-thickness, not the sizes 25x55x10 or 25x55x9 (09283-25065). |

I think you are right, thanks again! Two dealers have shipped for me seals 25x55x9 as T20 parts. However I don't like to add thrust washers to the middle crankshaft, so I'll go on searching the 25x55x11 seals. |

Can't the 9mm ones be used as they are? As they are fixed in the cases and don't move, the width should not matter. |

If that's the fact, I'll use those 9mm ones I allready have and stop hunting the 11mm ones! |

I didn't say it was a FACT! but I can't see any reason why not! (PS Parts should be in Crooks this week - I'll mail you) |

I know some guys have used 9mm-thick seals + 2 mm spacers, some 10mm-thick seals + 1 mm spacers and others no spacers at all with 9-10mm-thick seals. (Nice to hear!) |

Absolutely no point in fitting spacers beside oil seals! The crank is located by the half ring on the drive side main bearing and cannot move sideways and the seals are located in their respective grooves in the cases so these cannot move either. So there is positively no need for spacers. The centre bearing also has a dowel to stop it turning - this will also ensure that it is located laterally. |
