Hey guys-

Been doing alot of work on my stone stock '66 T20. Put a newly resealed crank and a fairly fresh top end on the other day. Bike runs pretty good, but doesn't want to go over 60MPH! Will accelerate to red line in 1 2 3 4 gears, but doesn't want to turn faster than 5 or 6 thousand in 5th or 6th gears. Turning the throttle only makes the bike start to surge and go slower!
The oil injection is working great, I'm pretty sure the timing is OK, and the carbs are decent. What else should I check ?

Sounds like timing, or crank seals - two things you say are OK....hmmm

How about fuel? - hold it flat out in 5th and then check your plugs. It could be a really rich mixture. Are you using the original main jets? Is the air filter OK?
