What kind of final drive sprocket and rear sprocket you have in your T20 racers? Is the original number of teeth OK with standard gearbox?

We use smaller chain than standard - 420 size I think. I'll check.

I have a 15 tooth front and 46 tooth back sprocket, but with this set-up I am overgeared for the slower circuits. I'll be experimenting with this as the season progresses.

I've checked...
428 size chain and front sprocket size of 14 not 15.
I may go for 13 front and 48 or bigger back!

I have a 14 tooth front and 41 tooth back sprocket but probably have to get bigger back?
There's available back sprockets made from Ergal named aluminium. Have you tried? Or is it better to trust in steel?

Aluminium sprockets are very good, a lot lighter and very strong. I use Renthal brand on my bikes.

Spen, do you have silver etched or hard anodised (bronze colour) ones on you bikes? Do Renthal really have rear sprockets which fit straight to T20 sprocket cush drive plate (if they have you could perhaps give me the part number?) or have I to turn on a lathe? Do you know any Renthal dealer who has www-sites or Email address and mail abroad?
By the way, what's your opinion and experience about the chain size and sprocket size?

I use the plain alloy (Dural) type, excellent quality and price.
Have a look at the B&C Express web site.
There's a girl works there called Heather who is brilliant at sorting them out for you. They're ready machined to go straight on.
I use 420 size, as the chains are thin, light and cheap!!

It has been a pleasure for me to deal with B&C Express and Theresa. Really good service and fast delivery.
They have supplied me e.g. with superb front and rear (aluminium alloy)sprockets and at a very reasonable price.
Highly recommendable!
And thanks Spen for a good tip!
