ok here is my first of what will probably be many questions.Just got a 1967 T20 and would like to get the engine running before I start to work on the bike. There is no battery, rectifier, air filter or wiring loom, but the plug coils are there.Would it be possible to do some simple wiring so that the bike fires up? Is this possible? Pictures at this website http://groups.msn.com/pictures9999999/_whatsnew.ms nw thanks Stan |

Yes, I reckon so. You would need an external 12V battery of some sort (from your car?) feeding power to your points. You would then need a conection from the points to the coils. If you look at the wiring diagram on my 'T20 Data' section, you should be able to work out how to do it. It is pretty easy I think. If you need more advice - just ask. |

Ok thanks Adrian, I am probably about 2 weeks away from trying this as I have a few other things to sort out but then I can concentrate on the T20. thanks Stan |
