At last! Been able to test ride my T20. It was a bit too snowy before here in Switzerland... Now i have a first-hand impression of these little suckers. I'm impressed specially by their well-behaved manners (compared to kwakas of the same period) Very smooth and fun! Not bowl over by the guard against downshifting from 2nd to 1st, but i suppose it's a question getting the habit. The front brake though is not a gem! Thanks to all of you who contributed parts and advice! Cheers Spike |

You might need to work on setting up the front brake as they did work really well - mine is great. Take the shoes out, rub off any glaze with fine emery, and bed in again. Redo this after a few miles and you can see if ALL of the shoe surface is touching the hub. If it isn't, rub down the high spots and try again. Also, try new shoes if necessary, as modern material is better than the old stuff! |
