Finally my T20 is behaving and having the two cyl in sync... at last. Aggro 1: Fiddling with points is not my idea of fun, so is there a electronic ignition (other than rex caunt's) for Road bike? Boyer Bransden don't seem to make one. Is it possible to mount a T500 one? Aggro 2 : motor runs but clutch stuck (been sitting too long) is there a way around a clutch dismantling? Thanks Spike

One of my T200's has a Piranha (Newtronic) ignition fitted. It's a battery powered system and very inexpensive, ring 01254 680187, ask for Shaun. The clutch isn't a big job to strip and free up,go on, get your hands mucky. www.suzuki-club.co.uk/t20racers |

Just make sure you don't lose the pins which hold the clutch springs in, get somebody to catch them as they pop out. A piece of stiff bent wire will assist in putting tension on the springs whilst somebody removes the pins with a pair of long nosed pliers or a sturdy pair of tweezers. It's a straightforward job no problems to worry about. (Fingers x'd). |

Spike .....to free off stuck clutch, run motor on stand, in gear, with rear wheel off ground, pull in clutch lever, rev it and apply back brake......should unstick clutch plates. you may stall the motor but keep trying. dave |

Thanks guys, Trying to unstick my clutch didn't work out, so i put a mixture of oil and gas instead and That sorted the problem in about 5 minutes. Flush it 2-3- times with cheapo oil and refill. Works a treat! |
