Anybody done this? Do they make plates/linkages to make it easier? I am going to have my T20 frame powder coated, but I want to work out my pegs first. I can design, build plates for new peg mounts if I have to, but does anyone have some advice on how far back to put them? |

Are you using it on the road or on the track? If on the track, you could braze some footpeg hoops to the frame as I have done on my racebike. I have sat on other peoples racers and some have the pegs higher than on mine. Looking at the way my racing boots are all worn down on the side, I may have to move mine a bit higher too! Alternatively, do what Kevin Strowger has done to his T20, make rearsets that mount directly to lugs brazed onto the frame. You can see his work on my 'Your Bikes' page - click on the photo of his bike for the full story and pictures of his rearsets. Hope this helps. If you want more photos of mine, just ask and I will send you some close-ups. |

Where do you buy your rearsets? I mean rearsets that look "period"? Do they exist in such a model that can be fitted instead of rear footpegs? |

Why don't use the standard mounting holes of the pillion footrests and the silencers? |

I found I can't use the mounting holes of the rear footpegs because they are 10x1,25 and most footrest studs are some other thread (maybe M10?). Perhaps I've to weld the holes blocked and tap newly. But where to buy nice period look rearsets?
